Terms of Service

Effective date: June 21, 2026

These Terms of Service describe the services offered by SecureYourParent and the limits of those services. Please review these Terms before booking a Review or using the website.

1. What SecureYourParent Provides

SecureYourParent provides live, guided Reviews designed to help individuals and families see where things currently stand across identity protection and family readiness.

Current services may include:

  • Identity Protection Review
  • Family Readiness Review
  • Combined Review
  • Optional Guided Implementation after an Identity Protection Review

A Review is a structured conversation that results in a written Clarity Report. The Review and Clarity Report are based on what you and any participating family members share during the conversation.

SecureYourParent does not verify, certify, confirm, inspect, or independently determine the actual status of your accounts, documents, protections, legal arrangements, or family records.

2. What SecureYourParent Does Not Provide

SecureYourParent is not a law firm, accounting firm, financial adviser, tax adviser, estate-planning adviser, cybersecurity firm, identity-monitoring service, insurance provider, or government agency.

Nothing on this website, in a Review, in a Clarity Report, in a Guided Implementation session, or in any follow-up communication is legal, tax, financial, estate-planning, cybersecurity, investigative, medical, or other professional advice.

SecureYourParent does not tell you what you should do. SecureYourParent helps organize what you report, provides general educational information, and creates a written picture of where things currently stand so you can decide what, if anything, to do next.

3. No Account Access or Sensitive Information

During Reviews and Guided Implementation sessions, SecureYourParent does not ask for or receive:

  • Passwords
  • PINs
  • Social Security numbers
  • Account numbers
  • Government IDs
  • Copies of sensitive documents
  • Screen sharing
  • Remote access
  • Login codes
  • Control of any device or account

You remain in control of your own accounts, devices, information, and decisions at all times.

4. Reviews and Clarity Reports

A Clarity Report is a written picture of where things stand based on what you and any participating family members report during the Review.

A Clarity Report is not verification, certification, a professional assessment, a risk score, a readiness score, or a recommendation to take or avoid any specific action.

The value of a Review is organization and visibility. A Review may help identify what is clear, what is uncertain, and what may require further follow-up by you, your family, or an appropriate professional.

5. Guided Implementation

Guided Implementation is an optional follow-up service available after an Identity Protection Review.

During Guided Implementation, SecureYourParent may provide general, voice-led guidance while you complete selected identity-protection steps yourself, in your own accounts and on your own device.

SecureYourParent does not log in for you, act on your behalf, impersonate you or another person, bypass official processes, or assist with access to accounts that are not clearly your own.

If a provider requires additional verification, mail, phone, in-person steps, identity review, or professional help, completion of those steps remains your responsibility.

6. No Guarantee

SecureYourParent does not guarantee that any Review, Clarity Report, Guided Implementation session, website content, or educational information will prevent identity theft, fraud, financial loss, family confusion, missed documents, account issues, account access problems, or any other harm.

Identity theft, fraud, family-readiness issues, and account-access issues can arise in many ways, including ways outside the scope of SecureYourParent's services.

7. Third-Party Providers

Identity-protection systems and related services are operated by independent third parties, including government agencies, credit bureaus, banks, consumer-reporting agencies, technology providers, and other institutions.

SecureYourParent is not affiliated with those providers and does not control their rules, availability, verification requirements, processing times, decisions, or outcomes.

You are responsible for confirming current requirements directly with the relevant provider.

8. Booking, Fees, and Payment

Prices, booking methods, and available services are shown on the website and may change over time.

A booking is not confirmed until SecureYourParent confirms it in writing.

If payment is collected through a third-party payment provider, that provider processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. SecureYourParent does not store full payment card numbers.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Unless otherwise stated during booking, sessions may be rescheduled by mutual agreement.

If payment has been collected, any cancellation or refund terms provided during booking, checkout, or written confirmation will apply.

10. Website Content

Blog posts, guides, FAQs, and other website content are provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

Website content may become outdated. SecureYourParent makes reasonable efforts to provide useful information but does not warrant that all content is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for your particular situation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SecureYourParent and its principals will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from identity theft, fraud, account access, third-party provider decisions, reliance on website content, or actions you choose to take or not take.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SecureYourParent's total liability for any claim related to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for that specific service.

12. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, accounts, documents, family communications, professional consultations, and follow-up steps.

If a matter requires legal, tax, financial, estate-planning, cybersecurity, medical, or other professional judgment, you are responsible for consulting an appropriately qualified professional.

13. Changes to These Terms

SecureYourParent may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or booking of services after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
